MADERA TO CROWN CHAMPIONS THIS SATURDAYMADERA, California -- Madera Speedway will host their “Open Wheel Championships” this Saturday, October 21st with the Bay Cities Racing Association Midgets.

The “Open Wheel Championship Night” at Madera will show sparks as the BCRA Midgets, 360 Supermodifieds, Lucas Motorsports Modifieds and the Modified Super Toyotas face off to crown their Champions! The Exciting Hornets will also be on hand to entertain the fans.

The mighty midgets of the Bay Cities Racing Association will conclude their season this Saturday. John Sarale, the 70 plus year veteran, from of Stockton will be out to win his second driving title. The defending champion holds a commanding point lead in his Sarale Farms Chevy powered Beast BCRA midget over Floyd Alvis of San Carlos and Travis Berryhill of American Canyon. Alvis holds a mere five point advantage over early-season point leader Berryhill in their torrid battle for the runner-up spot. Riding fourth in the standings is Fresno's David Prickett aboard the Prickett's Distributing VanDyne powered Hawk.

In the MST’s, the Kingsburg youngster, Tanner Swanson, leads the points but will be battled by Doug Bridger, Randy Fleming, and Jeff Duran.

The historic roadster style 360 Supermodifieds of Madera Speedway will have Dave Tuey, Donnie Large, Kevin Hayes and defending feature winner, Kenny White, all hoping to close out the season with a win and the victorious championship title.

The always exciting Lucas Motorsports Modifieds will feature John Highfill, Mike Regelman, Thomas Lieby and Jeremy Grasty among the other modified starts of California’s Central Valley.

The sparks will fly Saturday at Madera Speedway as the racing excitement will come to an end soon, so be sure to visit this Saturday and watch the Champagne flow.

Saturday’s action begins with Qualifying when the Grandstands Opening at 4 PM, Opening Ceremonies beginning at 5:30 PM and a Green Flag start at 6 PM.
