GOVERNOR GEORGE PATAKI & GEOFF BODINE IN NEW YORK

New York Governor George Pataki was in Lake Placid, N.Y. Friday Dec. 15 for a press conference and afterward posed with members of the U.S. Bobsled and Skeleton Federation and NASCAR legend Geoff Bodine.

The American bobsled team is off to a great start this season due to the rebuilding of the Lake Placid course, funded by Gov. Pataki in 2000, and the infusion of money from Bodine via the Bo-Dyn Bobsled Project, Inc. and Whelen Engineering. The second Geoff Bodine Bobsled Challenge, to raise money for continued bobsled research and development, will take place Jan. 4-6 in Lake Placid.
