99 SPEEDWAY STORE TO CLOSE AT THE END OF 2006

Although the checkered flag fell for the final time at the Stockton 99 Speedway last September, concluding 60 years of thrilling short-track racing excitement at the fabled central California facility, racing fans still have the opportunity to shop at the track’s official souvenir store before it also fades into history at the end of the year.

The popular shop first opened on December 1, 1997, just to blow out some leftovers from the 1997 NASCAR season at Stockton 99 Speedway for Christmas, and it quickly became a fixture for NASCAR racing enthusiasts and memorabilia collectors throughout the region. Now, without the support of the 99 Speedway, store owner/operator Chris Hunefeld has announced that that the 99 Speedway Souvenir Store will be closing it's doors for good, Dec 31, 2006.

Everything must go! As a result, NASCAR fans now have the opportunity to take advantage of 20% off storewide savings!

The 99 Speedway Souvenir Store is a trackside store, which means anything you see on the trailers at a NASCAR race can also be purchased here. Also available are Rare Die cast pieces for all your favorite drivers at an incredible savings, giving any collector instant equity! Inventory includes team jackets, decals, tee shirt, hats, light switch plates, license plate frames, sweatshirts, neon lights.... the list goes on and on.

The 99 Speedway Souvenir Store is conveniently located at 6315 Pacific Ave in Stockton, 209-477-1238. Stores hours until December 31st are: Monday thru Saturday 11 to 6 PM, and Sunday 12 to 4 PM.
