EVERGREEN SPEEDWAY WELCOMES CENTRAL WELDING BACK

MONROE, Washington -- Evergreen Speedway, the biggest and best-attended stock car racing facility in the Pacific Northwest, is pleased to announce the continuing relationship with its partner and title sponsor Central Welding Supply. Central Welding Supply will host its own "Night at the Races" on July 7th and will add much to the excitement of the evening. A welder will be given away to a NASCAR Whelen All American Series, Speedway Chevrolet Super Stock driver (displaying the Central Welding Sticker) in a random drawing after the green flag has waved. In addition, $3000.00 will be added to the purse, distributed throughout the top three positions. Central wanted to add to the purse to create excitement and energy and pass along added value to the participants. 1st place will pay $3000.00, 2nd $1500.00 and 3rd $1050.00

This 5/8's race (1 of 7 for the season) compliments the Speedway's ambitious program for 2007. The March 31st Season opener is a $2000.00 to win $10,000.00 purse race as well as the Prestigious Washington 500 day race, the "Wired X Energy Drink 150 presented by Haggen" and the Big Track Championship race September 15th. In all, the Speedway Chevrolet Super Stocks will be competing for well over $120,000 in purse, prize, contingency and awards. Also, the first ever Washington State NASCAR Champion will be crowned. Two-time defending Champion Shane Harding says. "I can't wait for the season to begin, to get to race all these top drivers with so much on the line is just awesome".
