DAVE BLANEY ON CALIFORNIA SPEEDWAY…“Speedweeks was a little rough for us and all of Bill Davis Racing actually, so we’re happy to be done with all of that and looking toward the race this weekend at California Speedway. We were impressed with the way our Toyota Camry ran in the Gatorade Duel last week. I think, though we’re obviously still learning a lot about the car, we have a lot of things to look forward to this year. We had a good test in Las Vegas with the car that we’re taking to the race in Fontana, and we really are looking forward to getting back to the basics and a normal type of weekend – practice, qualifying and the race. You know, you get that first weekend of restrictor plate racing out of the way, then you head to Fontana, and you get to see what you’ve really got. There’s no doubt we’ve still got work to do, but with all the support we get from Toyota and Caterpillar, we see good things for our team on the horizon.” See Also .: News Index | E-mail to a Friend
