DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- NASCAR announced today that Bryant Frazier, crew chief of the No. 66 Dodge driven by Steve Wallace in the NASCAR Busch Series, has been penalized due to rule violations at Daytona International Speedway.

Frazier was fined $1,000 for violating Sections 12-4-A (actions detrimental to stock car racing), 12-4-Q (car, car parts, components and/or equipment used that do not conform to NASCAR rules) and 20A – 10.5B: (bracket around drive shaft less than one-quarter inch thick) of the 2007 NASCAR Busch Series Rule Book. The infraction was discovered during opening day inspection on Feb 13.####
