TESTING DONE IT’S TIME TO LIGHT THE TIRES

CONCORD, NC. -- The collaborative team of Kyle Busch Motorsports, Motorway Autogroup/MRG Motorsports completed it’s first test last weekend at Altamont Raceway Park with driver of the #84 car, Alex Haase.

The team brought 3 cars with them to shake down and left the session pleased with how it went. “This is the first time we have put Alex in one of our cars. It only took him 10-12 laps to get comfortable and run times comparable to qualifying times from last year.” Said Mike Naake, crew chief. “It should be an exciting year with support from Kyle, Jimmie Dick and Mark Golumbeskie.” “We should be a strong contender.”

This was Alex Haase’s first time behind the wheel of the KBM/Motorway/MRG Motorsports Chevy Monte Carlo. “It felt great and I was surprised how quickly I adapted to the car”. “I was a little nervous at first considering the car is bigger and heavier than the late models I usually run.” “I can’t wait until the first race!” “With the support and help from Kyle, Mike Naake and Jimmie Dick I’m very fortunate for this opportunity and look to make the most of it.”

Alex will be racing in Kyle, Texas to kick off the 2007 Grand National Series, West Division on March 31.
