Jose Luis Ramirez from Mexico City, will drive the # 30 Bad Boy Power Drink / Pro30. com / Red Line Oil / Rayere Dodge in the 2007 NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series for Pro30 Racing. Jose will run the entire schedule, beginning at the Allstate Texas Thunder and Lightning Racefest at Thunder Hill Raceway in Kyle, Texas on March 31st.

Motorsport veterans Pam Lippard and Phil Bonifield have teamed up with Pro30 Racing as general managers of the NASCAR Grand National, West Series team, and the team’s Driver Development Program. Phil will also serve as crew chief of Jose’s # 30 West Series ride.

This season won’t be Jose’s first time competing in the NASCAR Grand National, West Series. In 2004 he finished the season 4th out of 10 rookies, enabling him to drive in the Toyota All-Showdown Race. This invitational is comprised of the 15 best drivers from the NASCAR West Series and the 15 best drivers from the NASCAR Busch East Series. In 2004 Jose finished 10th overall in the NASCAR Grand National West Series Championship.

After 2004, Ware Racing, along with its major sponsor, Pro30. com, selected Jose for their NASCAR Driver Developmental program. Team owner Rick Ware and Bill Coleman, CEO of Pro30.com, chose Jose because of his sharp driving skills and his visibility within the Latin community for Pro30’s core business. The Hispanic market was and continues to be a major focus for the rapidly growing Northern California-based mortgage lending firm.

In 2005, Rick Ware and Bill Coleman gave Jose yet another opportunity to follow his dream of racing in the NASCAR West Series. This afforded Jose the ability to race with some of the best race drivers in the world and continue to hone his race skills. In 2006, Jose improved and refined his driving technique both in Mexico and in the United States. He also spent long hours working with Rick Ware on the race car at Ware’s facility in Thomasville, NC.

In 2007, Bill and Kay Coleman of Pro30 Funding and Bill’s brother, Russell Coleman joined forces with Rick Ware to form Pro30 Racing. As part of the team’s overall strategy, Jose will drive the #30 Bad Boy Power Drink / Pro30.com / Red Line Oil / Rayere Dodge in the 2007 NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series. The team owners have every reason to believe that Jose will be a real contender in NASCAR’s West Series this year.

According to Rick Ware, ”Jose works hard and drives smart. He deserves a good car, backed up by a team of seasoned professionals. With the help of our sponsors, and the guidance of Pam Lippard and Phil Bonifield, Jose will get the team he deserves in 2007”.####
