MONROE, Washington -- In regard to the NASCAR Whelen All American Series Speedway Chevrolet Super Stocks, and in an effort to make more efficient the guidelines for the Evergreen Speedway Crate Motor program, the following information is for your clarification.

Speedway Chevrolet is the exclusive supplier of the crate engines at Evergreen Speedway. They have certified professionals ready to repair and/or refresh any and all crate engines. If a race team has a problem or concern with their respective engines they should at their earliest opportunity call Greg White at Speedway Chevrolet for immediate assistance. Greg will expedite any needed repairs and/or refreshing. The expected turn around, if the engine were delivered as expeditiously as possible, would be between races (Monday-Friday). If for any reason the repairs cannot be made in time for the next race, in conjunction with Speedway Chevrolet, Evergreen Speedway has put into place a loaner program. A certified crate engine will be made available for a nominal rental fee of $200.00. This should fill any needs that might arise from the race teams in 2007.

Additionally, a reminder that Speedway Chevrolet will be giving away a crate engine at the Evergreen Speedway Champions Banquet, for those cars that run the Speedway Sticker in one of the three approved locations. Also, Speedway Chevrolet is giving away $2,100.00 during the course of the season, in a random spin contest that will award one competitor $100.00 (If running the approved Speedway sticker) each time the Speedway Chevrolet Super Stocks take the green flag.

Finally $2,500.00 in cash will be awarded in varying amounts ($100-$500) blindly selected at the Champions Banquet by eligible drivers in the Speedway Chevrolet Super Stock Bonus Program.

Lastly, in the 2007 Super Stock Rules, there is a NOTE: Any car NOT conforming to the aforementioned rules in any way must weigh 3,400 lbs. and use the Holley 8050-7, 390 carburetor. The intent of this rule is to NOT allow a competitive advantage to anyone and further, is not intended to allow engines other than crate engines.####
