NASCAR WEST SERIES
Source: Motorway/MRG Motorsports
![]() Alex Haase and the Motorway/Kyle Busch Motorsports team heads to Minnesota to run at Elko Speedway in the Minnesota 150 on Friday May 18th and then they head to Iowa Speedway to run in the Featherlite Coaches 200 on Sunday, May 20th. Elko is a 3/8th mile track and Iowa Speedway is a 7/8 mile track. Haase will be piloting the #88 car for the remainder of the season. The team will be able to focus on Haase as his teammate Jamie Dick, will not run again until Irwindale in July.
Haase looks forward to running with the Busch East drivers. In his first year of competition in this highly competitive division, Haase currently sits 10th in points. His crew chief, Mike Naake and the Motorway team have given him great equipment and effort to get him to this point. Haase also appreciates that veteran drivers, Mike David and Mike Duncan have taken the time each race to give pointers on these tracks, as they are all new tracks to Alex. These next couple of races are going to be extremely competitive with both West and East competing. Haase will rely heavily on his veteran crew chief Naake, to give him the advice and the car that he needs to keep him up on the speed charts.
