GARRETT EVANS WINS THE WIX FILTERS 125

YAKIMA, Washington -- Garrett Evans took control of the Yakima Grinding ARCA West Q-Racing Late Model Challenge Series WIX Filters 125 with just three laps left. Evans worked his way up to leader Jeff Jefferson when Jefferson lost his brakes. Yakima’s own Erick Hargaves ran up in the top 5 and worked his way to second with Wes Rhodes on his tail. The 26 car field gave the fans a great show.

The ARCA West Truck Series saw Steve Thompson of West Richland win the main event over his brother Rick Thompson and third place finisher Jerry Chester

The Yakima Super Stocks saw a lot of action as John Rose won the main event followed by Tony Huffines and third place finisher Jessie Vincent

The H&H Furniture Hobby Stocks fielded 22 cars and Brian Pepper won while managing to fend off second place challenger Ken Mullins with Gene Wachtel taking third.

The next race will be the ASA Aero Exhaust Northwest Tour presented by Penguin Plumbing and Electrical with the Yakima Super Stocks, H & H Furniture Hobbies and the ever popular Hornets
