TRADITION RESTORED: JULY 3 SUPER LATE MODEL RACE AT THE BULLRING RETURNS TO 75 LAPS

NASCAR Nextel Cup Series star and Las Vegas native Kyle Busch will return home to compete in Tuesday’s Super Late Model feature. Busch won several races at the Bullring during his racing career in Late Models, Modifieds and Legends. The Bullring’s annual Independence Day holiday extravaganza will include short-track stock car racing, fireworks, Monster Trucks, a Jet Car burn, a D1 Grand Prix drifting exhibition, freestyle quad exhibition and a driver autograph session. Reigning Miss Las Vegas, Amanda Kunzi, will sing the National Anthem. Spectator gates will open at 5 p.m., with qualifying at 5:30 p.m. and racing at 6 p.m. Classes will include Super Late Models, the USAC Ford Focus Midget Series, IMCA Modifieds and Legends Cars. Adult spectator admission is $15, children 6-12 are $5 and kids 5 and under will be admitted free. The Bullring offers $1 hot dogs, $1 beer and $1 soda at every race event. Fans may purchase tickets in advance by calling the LVMS ticket office at (702) 644-4444 or online at www.LVMS.com.
