HAASE NETS PODIUM FINISH

Alex Haase, the 17 year old rookie, brought home his career best finish in the Big O Tires 150 at Miller Motorsports Park in Toelle, Utah, just outside of Salt Lake City. He was piloting his #88 Motorway/MRG/Kyle Busch Motorsports sponsored car. He had a fast car right out of the trailer with 2nd and 3rd fastest times on Friday. He qualified 7th out of the 21 cars that were entered. "This is such a nice facility with a great group of fans." states Haase. The crowd was estimated to be around 7,000. Alex would really like to give his crew chief, Mike Naake, and his pit crew alot of thanks as the team got together before the 41 lap race to devise their strategy. " I have the best crew in the West, they were able to keep me with the front runners on all 3 of our pit stops" says Haase. Alex was closing in on the leader with a few laps remaining, but was very satisfied with his 2nd place finish. He will have a couple of weeks off before they head up to Monroe, Washington to race at Evergreen Speedway on August 4th, 2007.
