| Matt Hicks of Santee won Saturday night’s (July 28) King Taco Super Trucks division race at Irwindale Speedway. Hicks started from the pole position and led the entire race capturing his third consecutive victory and fourth win of the season. John Israel of Simi Valley finished second, 0.594 of a second behind Hicks. Rookie Conner Cantrell of Valencia finished third. Division points leader Pat Mintey Jr. finished sixth in the 40-lap race. |

| Division points leader Tim Skoglund of Fresno took the lead from Mike Maier of Hayward on lap 29 to win Saturday night’s (July 28) USAC K&N Filters Ford Focus Midgets race at Irwindale Speedway. Maier finished 0.846 of a second behind Skoglund. Nic Faas of Huntington Beach finished third in the 35-lap race. |

| Greg Crutcher of Covina won his first race of the season capturing the Vista Paint Super Stock 35-lap division race Saturday night (July 28) at Irwindale Speedway. Crutcher edged Darren Cheek of San Bernardino for the win with a 0.315 second margin of victory. Cheek’s runner-up finish also snapped a three race consecutive win streak. Eric Sunness of Chatsworth finished third. Division leader and defending champion Bryan Harrell of Riverside blew an engine and finished in 13th place. |

| Division leader Rip Michels of San Fernando started fourth grabbed the lead from pole setter Dan Moore of Burbank on the first lap and led the remaining way to win the ACDelco Super Late Model 50-lap feature race at Irwindale Speedway Saturday night. Michels is Irwindale Speedway’s winningest driver and the victory was his 52 nd. Moore finished in second place and Andrew Phipps of Simi Valley finished third in the caution free race. |
