Pictured are Erick and Rick Hargraves at Wenatchee Speedway earlier this season when they first brought out their Fallen Soldier tribute hood. The hood was designed to honor a third Hargraves family member-Sargent Cory Hargraves (Erick's brother) and all Washington State military past and present who have given or are giving their all to protect our freedom -including the right to enjoy some good stock car racing.

The hood contains 84 names thus far out of a total 130 plus soldiers who are from Washington State. The hood is on their Late Model that runs in two NW Series-the ARCA West Late Model Challenge Series and the ASA NW Tour. You know when Erick and Rick "are in the house," that they enjoy racing and that they mean business. You can count on them running at the top of their class, bringing home a good finish, and at the end of the night, laughing and having fun with their racing comrades.

Erick and Rick Hargraves love racing, are proud to live in Washington State and are proud of all military that have served and continue to serve their country. Says Erick.."We love our freedom and love to race-we brought out this hood as a reminder that while we are enjoying these freedoms there are others who are risking their lives to ensure we will continue to have them. This hood is our small contribution to acknowledge and thank them for what they do on our behalf"

If you follow the ARCA West , ASA NW Tour or happen to find yourself at Yakima Speedway on some Saturday night, check out the number 51 car driven by Erick Hargraves. It's well prepared, fast and probably running up front. After the race, stop down in the pits, meet Erick and Rick, do some bench racing and check out this unique tribute to our military .......and if you remember, thank them for what they do as well.

P.S.-The season is not over yet. With two races to go in the LMCS, Erick sits fourth in points, just a couple of points behind third place. This could get good!!
