After a successful season in the ASA Aero Exhaust Northwest Series, Travis Bennett is ready to take on the biggest race of the year this weekend at Yakima Speedway in the 20th running of the Fall Classic. With a large list of high quality teams and a possible purse of $14,000.00, it is said to have the looks of the best Fall Classic yet.

Although the ASA Aero Exhaust Northwest Series was Bennett's main focus this year, the Fall Classic is definitely the most anticipated event of the 2007 season. Starting off the year in victory lane at Yakima Speedway taking the Apple Cup win, Bennett hopes to be sitting in that same spot come Sunday afternoon.

"A Fall Classic Victory would be huge for myself and my team. This is a race that I watched as a kid and always wanted to be a part of. I've ran a few of them, including last year, but came up a bit short. We have a strong team and car for this weekend so Im pretty excited to get to the track and see how things shake down," said Bennett.

Calling Yakima Speedway his home track, it is always a favorite for Bennett and his DS Racing team to compete at.

"Yakima is close to home for me and all of my family and friends get to come out to watch. It's great to show them how hard we work all year and I hope to bring home a good finish for everyone."

Events start Friday with practice and the race of Champions followed with the 200 lap main even kicking off Sunday at 1:30. Travis Bennett would like to thank Bowman's Electro Painting, Catlin Electric and Bennett Insurance's.
