ASA SPEEDTRUCK SEASON FINALE ON TAP AT HAVASU 95 SPEEDWAY

This Saturday night is car club appreciation at Havasu 95 Speedway featuring the season finale for the ASA Speedtruck Challenge Series along with Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Factory Powder Puff. Fans who bring their Run to the Sun entry card will receive 2 for 1 on admission to the races.

The ASA Speedtrucks will duel for 100 laps on the 1/4 mile oval with a close championship fight. The story of the race will involve Darren Young and Victor Pfluger. Young and Pfluger sit atop the points standings with Young leading Pfluger by a mere 7 points. Bear Rzesnowiecky, this seasons Rookie of the Year, should play into the battle for the win as the rookies only win of the season was at Havasu in April.

The Street Stocks will return to action after a one race layoff. The division has had two different winners in the first two races. Bryant Sutterfield won the season opener and Rick Layman won the last race. Chip Campbell with two consistent finishes sits atop the points standings.

The Factory Stocks will conclude the nights action with a 12-lap feature as well as a Factory Powder Puff race.

Spectator gates open at 5:00 p.m. with racing to start at 7:00 p.m.

Friday night will feature a Test & Tune for all divisions from 6-9 p.m. with free grandstand admission.
