ANTELOPE, California– HASA Pool Products will field the No. 78 HASA Pool Products Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS in the NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown with Bill McAnally Racing’s driver Moses Smith behind the wheel. The HASA Pool Products has been the primary sponsor for the No. 18 from BMR with Moses Smith for the 2007 NASCAR Grand National Division West Series season. Smith finishes his rookie season in the West Series recording three top-ten finishes in twelve starts.

“I’m very excited that HASA Pool Products has decided to field a car for the NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown,” said Smith. “It’s nice to go into a race not having to worry about points. There should be a lot of great racing.” “We’ve raced with some of the teams from the Busch East Series this year,” continued Smith. “There are a lot of good drivers in both the East and the West. I’m looking forward to racing with them again. I know the Showdown will be just as tough as any other race this season. The guys back at the BMR shop having been working real hard to give me the best car they can for this race. I’m confident we can do well this weekend.”

The race will feature the best racers from not only the West Series but also the Busch East Series. Also invited are the champions from the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour, the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, the NASCAR Mexico Series and the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series. Drivers will have to qualify for the race and are only locked into a starting position if they have won a race in the NGND this season or have won their series championship.

The NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown will be televised live on SPEED Channel beginning on October 19th thru the 20th with the main event scheduled to begin Saturday at 7:30 pm PST. Please check your local listings.
