THE PAS HOSTS ANNUAL TOY DRIVE AND FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT ON SATURDAY!

PERRIS, California -- Adult fans attending the 2007 season ending race at Perris Auto Speedway this Saturday night, November 17th, are encouraged to bring a new toy for the track’s annual toy drive and receive $6.00 off of their admission price. The toy has to be in the original manufacturer’s packaging (not wrapped in Christmas or other paper) and valued at $5.00 or more. All of the toys will be donated to underprivileged children who would otherwise not be receiving Christmas gifts. Spectator gates will open at 5:00 PM on Saturday.

Saturday’s race will be the annual Jack Kindoll Classic featuring the Lucas Oil USAC/CRA Sprint Cars, presented by Temecula Valley Pipe & Supply, and the Art’s Concrete Pumping Extreme Late Models.

“It is heartbreaking to think that some children do not have something to open on Christmas morning,” Perris promoter Don Kazarian said on Monday. “Our fans, teams and officials have stepped up in the past to help bring some joy to some underprivileged kids and we plan on doing it again this Saturday at the Annual PAS Toy Drive. We hope everyone will participate.”

In addition to the toy drive, Saturday will be fan appreciation night at The PAS. Between races, prizes will be given away all night long to lucky fans.

Be sure to make your plans to be on hand for the final race of the 2007 campaign at The PAS. It will feature care shown by the fans, teams and officials for underprivileged kids, gifts for some lucky fans, the best Sprint Car & Late Model racing on the West Coast and what has become a PAS tradition, Christmas music over the track’s 60,000 watt digital sound system.
