POST FALLS, Idaho

The Northwest Super Shoe Show marks the first time in nearly two decades that the ASA/NSRA has made an appearance at the speedway.

“We are very excited to work with the officials and teams of the ASA/NSRA in bringing this series back for the fans of the Inland Northwest,” said Joe Doellefeld, Stateline Stadium Speedway Promoter. “This will be a unique show that both diehard sprint car fans and new fans will definitely enjoy.”

“ASA/NSRA is looking forward to returning to Stateline Speedway after a 20-year absence,” said Curt Kern, ASA/NSRA President.

Featuring teams from Washington, Oregon, Idaho & Canada Kern said fans will have an opportunity to see some of the finest drivers and fastest cars on West Coast.

Series regulars include defending champion Andy Alberding, multiple race winner Jake Mann, Justin Mack, and 2006 champion Jeff Montgomery. Jeff Bird, Todd Coleman, Cameron McLean, and Greg Middendorf represent a strong Canadian contingent.

Local teams are also expected to compete including car owner Monte Zema Sr. from Colville, Washington an ASA/NSRA team with RJ Fronsman as driver.

With a line-up of stout drivers and alcohol fueled winged sprint cars producing over 700 horsepower, Stateline Speedway’s track record of 11.893 seconds held by ASA/NSRA driver Rick Brown of Oregon in local sprints is expected to fall.

“Our series holds all time track records at 20 different venues we have visited since 1987,” Kern said. “The teams are looking forward to this weekend.”
