2008 IRWINDALE SPEEDWAY TICKETS ON SALE FOR NASCAR WHELEN ALL-AMERICAN WEEKLY RACING SERIES EVENTS

IRWINDALE, California--Celebrating its 10th season of oval track racing, Irwindale Speedway has placed tickets on sale on its web site www.irwindalespeedway.com for its 2008 NASCAR Whelen All-American Weekly Racing Series events. The season opener is scheduled for March 22 and is presented by the Southern California Toyota Dealers Association and will kick off a schedule of 30 events with the majority of races held on Saturday evenings.

Ticket prices for all Saturday events are $15.00 for adult general admission seats. Seniors pay $12.00 for general admission tickets while children ages 6-12 get in for $5.00 and 5 years of age and under are admitted for free. Reserved seat tickets are $25.00. Parking is $5.00. Southern California Auto Club members receive a 10% discount off of the purchase of up to four (4) adult general admission tickets for Saturday oval racing when they show their AAA membership card.

The Speedway is also accepting reservations for reserved seat season tickets and corporate box seats. Price information and reservations can be obtained by calling (626) 358-1100, by visiting the Speedway Administration Office Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and down loading an order form from the Speedway’s web site.

Details will be announced at a later date regarding ticket price and on sale information for the two NASCAR Camping World Series events scheduled for July 4th (including an Independence Day fireworks show) and August 16; the October 11 Formula Drift Championship Finals, the November 23 D1 Grand Prix All-Star World Championship event and the November 27 USAC Turkey Night Grand Prix. Other events are expected to be added to Irwindale Speedway’s 2008 oval track schedule and will be announced in the near future.
