Noting the Sam’s Town 300

• Three of the 10 Nationwide races at LVMS have been won from the pole.

• Jeff Burton is the only driver to sweep both the Sam’s Town 300 and UAW-Dodge 400 in the same weekend. He accomplished the feat in 2000.

• Mark Martin and Matt Kenseth are the only drivers with more than one pole for a Nationwide race at LVMS. They each have two.

• No non-Sprint Cup Series regular has won a Nationwide race at LVMS since the two series began racing on the same weekend in 1998.

• Dale Earnhardt Jr. (1998) and Greg Biffle (2001) are the only non-Sprint Cup drivers to post a runner-up finish in the Sam’s Town 300 since the series began sharing the same weekend in 1998.

• There are tentatively 17 drivers scheduled to do double duty by racing in both Saturday’s Sam’s Town 300 and Sunday’s UAW-Dodge 400.####
