HAYWIRE RACING SET FOR 2008 LLMRS DEBUT

GRAHAM, Washington – The HayWire Motorsports team debuts the #68 KMB Design Groups / Print-NW / Ringers Gloves / Mauritsen Enterprises Toyota Camry, competing in the 2008 Limited Late Model Racing Series.

“This has been a long time coming, and I’m thrilled to be a part of it.” said driver “Terrible” Tim McDougald, “We spent some very long nights trying to get this thing ready for this season and I think it shows in the final product. This is one of the best looking cars I’ve seen in a long time, and definitely the best looking car I’ve ever driven. I have to thank my amazing team members for all the hard work and dedication, and my sponsors who helped make this happen, Mark and the whole team at KMB Design Groups and Jeff and his team at Print-NW. Those guys did some amazing work with the graphics, and the outcome is incredible.”

The #68 KMB Design Groups / Print-NW / Ringers Gloves / Mauritsen Enterprises Toyota Camry will debut at the LLMRS season opener, May 3rd, at Ephrata Raceway Park. “We made a plan over the winter that we would run for points this season.” said “Terrible” Tim, “We tried to last season, but had some really bad luck and some things didn’t quite go our way. We had a real strong late season charge that moved us into 6th there at the end. All things considered, it was a great finish. But this year we have some targets we want to reach. Some real specific goals. I think it will be a great season for us, and hopefully a great season for Toyota.”

As the #68 Toyota Camry takes to the track for the 2008 LLMRS season opener, everyone will be watching as the new make enters the short track arena for the first time in the Pacific Northwest. “We are very excited to be representing Toyota this year.” added “Terrible” Tim McDougald, “I like to be separated from the masses a bit, held to a different standard, I think we perform better like that. And it’s cool to be a part of something new; I’m looking forward to seeing the fans reactions. I expect there will be some controversy, some irritation, and some excitement as well. It should make for an interesting season.” One thing’s for sure, when the new Toyota Camry takes to the track, Late Model racing in the Pacific Northwest will have changed forever.

Look for the #68 KMB Design Groups / Print-NW / Ringers Gloves / Mauritsen Enterprises Toyota Camry to be an instant front runner as the HayWire Motorsports team try to bring Toyota its first Late Model win in the Pacific Northwest during the 2008 LLMRS season. And be sure to catch the #92 RPM Sales & Service / Old West Graphics / Ringers Gloves / KMB Design Groups / Mauritsen Enterprises Pontiac Grand Prix on the Whelen All-American series schedule at Evergreen Speedway.
