CASA GRANDE, Arizona -- The month of May in the racing world signifies the unofficial kickoff of the seasons crown jewels. All across America, racetracks shift into high gear showcasing big purse regional and national events. Central Arizona Raceway is set to launch “The Month of Modifieds” as four high dollar BRA Dirt Modified events highlight the month’s schedule.

Action beings on Saturday, May 3rd as the BRA Dirt Modifieds return after a two-month absence to battle it out for the $1000 main event win. Joining the Modifieds on the nights schedule will be the Factory Stocks, Sport Mods and Arizona Modlite Association. After a week off for an appearance by the O’Reilly ASCS Canyon Region Non-Wing Sprints on May 13th, the BRA Dirt Modifieds run for another $1000 to win on May 17th along with the Super Stocks, Sports Mods and Sands Chevrolet Southwest Modlites.

“The Month of Modifieds” concludes with a huge Memorial Day weekend double header as the BRA Dirt Modified Touring Series makes its only stop of the season at Central Arizona Raceway. Drivers from across the southwest will converge on the 3/8th mile high banked oval May 24th & 25th in search of value points towards the lucrative BRA Touring Series Championship.

Pit gates open at 4pm, grandstand gates at 5pm with the first green flag slatted for 7pm.

All SWDRA Dirt Late Model A-Mains and BRA Dirt Modified A-Mains will pay $1000 to win. Updated schedule and raceway information can be found on our website at www.centralazraceway.com
