BOISE, Idaho – The Northwest Pro4 Alliance is pleased to announce that the 2008 Summer of Excitement Series Champion will receive an invitation to participate in a driver test with Bill McAnally Racing. BMR is one of the top racing teams in the west, competing in both the NASCAR Camping World West Series and the NASCAR Whelan All American Series. BMR cars have been driven by some of the top drivers in the western US, including Brendan Gaughan, Austin Cameron, and many others.
BMR also has a keen eye for picking talented drivers who have what it takes to be successful in the most competitive sport in the world -- stock car racing. Now, BMR is giving an opportunity to our 2008 NP4A champion to demonstrate their driving skills and abilities in a professionally prepared Toyota Camry. The test will take place at All American Speedway in Roseville, California during November.
Bill McAnally Racing was founded in 1986 and is owned by former NASCAR Camping World Series West driver, Bill McAnally, with one vision: Winning races and championships. BMR is dedicated to finding good people and utilizing them in the appropriate roles to make their racing machine roll. BMR also serves as a marketing tool for their sponsors to increase sales and name recognition. McAnally’s accomplishments include three championships in the NASCAR Winston West Series (now the NASCAR Camping World Series West). Beginning in 1999 with driver Sean Woodside, McAnally gave NAPA AUTO PARTS its first championship in the series. That was followed in 2000 and 2001 with NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver, Brendan Gaughan, piloting the #16 NAPA AUTO PARTS Chevrolet Monte Carlo. BMR also took home top honors by winning the Inaugural NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown in 2003 with driver Austin Cameron. BMR is headquartered in Antelope, California. Housing state of the art technology and a stable of race cars, BMR is capable of handling all aspects of race car preparation. Bill McAnally Racing is one of the most respected race teams in motorsports, and the Northwest Pro4 Alliance series is proud to have this chance to present BMR with our very best four cylinder late model driver -- our 2008 Northwest pro4 Alliance Champ!
