STOCK CAR RACING SATURDAY AT THE BULLRING AT LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY FEATURES 50-CENT HOT DOGS, RACING LEGENDS REUNION AND AUTOGRAPH SESSION

LAS VEGAS – NASCAR-sanctioned short track stock car racing resumes Saturday night at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The Super/ Late Model Combo class, Bombers, Modifieds, Legends Cars, Bandoleros and Thunder Roadsters all will see action on the 3/8-mile asphalt oval.

The Bullring’s concession stand is famous for its $1 hot dogs but on Saturday night, the first 2,000 hot dogs will be sold for only 50 cents. The Bullring’s family-friendly dollar menu also includes $1 soda and $1 beer.

The evening also will include an on-track autograph session and reunion for retired local racing heroes.

1 p.m. – Credential sales and pit gates open.

3 p.m. – Bandolero practice (15 minutes each for Young Guns and Bandits).

3:30 p.m. – Practice for full-size cars (concludes at 4:55 p.m.).

4:55 p.m. – Second Bandolero practice session (5 minutes each for Young Guns and Bandits).

5 p.m. – Spectator gates open.

5:15 p.m. – Drivers’ meeting.

5:30 p.m.

Bandolero Bandits heat race (6 laps or 6 minutes).

Bandolero Young Guns heat race (6 laps or 6 minutes).

Super Late Model/Late Model Combo qualifying (5 cars, 4 laps).

Legends Cars qualifying (8 cars, 4 laps).

Modified heat races (8 laps or 8 minutes).

Thunder Roadster heat races ( 8 laps or 8 minutes).

6:20 p.m. – On-track driver autograph session (clear track at 6:55 p.m.). Introduction and interviews of past Bullring and Craig Road Speedway drivers.

Bomber Bonus Race (15 laps, no cautions).
