HOLMES AND THE NO. 20 NAPA TOYOTA TEAM RETURN TO COLORADO NATIONAL SPEEDWAY

ANTELOPE, California – BMR driver Eric Holmes, pilot of the No. 20 NAPA Auto Parts Toyota Camry, visited Victory Lane at Colorado National Speedway in 2006 but that was in the NASCAR Southwest Tour. He looks to make a return to Victory Lane as the NASCAR Camping World Series West races at CNS on June 7th in the Toyota/NAPA “150”.

In 2007, the NAPA Auto Parts car started on the pole at CNS and set a new track qualifying time of 16.452. Holmes and the No. 20 team from BMR are ready to put the No. 20 NAPA Toyota on the pole for second time and record a third win this season for their race partner, NAPA Auto Parts. Holmes is currently second in the chase for the series 2008 championship.

“Colorado is definitely one of my favorite tracks and a track that we have had a lot of success at,” said Holmes. “The track has two grooves and provides great racing. The NAPA team has prepared a great car and Ty Joiner, our crew chief loves going to Colorado. We got our first pole there together in 2004 so I think the No. 20 NAPA Toyota has a great shot at the pole and our 3rd win of the year “

To kick off the race event at CNS, the drivers from BMR will be attending pre-race events in downtown Denver at Gates Corporation World Headquarters at 1551 Wewatta Street, Denver and the NAPA Denver Distribution Center located at 2101 Hwy 224, Denver from 2:30 TO 6:00 On Friday June 6th. They will also be at Stapp Toyota located at 8019 Raspberry Way, Frederick that afternoon. Come out and meet the BMR drivers.
