TOYOTA SPEEDWAY AT IRWINDALE RACE RESULTS

ACDelco Super Late Models Race #1

Travis Thirkettle of Newhall won the first race of the ACDelco Super Late Model twin bill Saturday night (June 14) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. The victory was Thirkettle’s second in as many races edging second place finisher Dan Moore of Burbank by 0.390 seconds. Nick Joanides of Woodland Hills finished third and division points leader Scott Conaway of Rancho Cucamonga finished in 7th place in the 40-lap race.

West Coast Pro Trucks

Jeff Williams of Newberry Park won the West Coast Pro Trucks 40-lap feature race Saturday night (June 14) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. Williams was challenged throughout the race by division points leader Ricky James of Murrieta who finished in second place and Christian Copley of Santa Ynez finished in third. The victory was Williams third of the season and the margin of victory over James was 0.943 seconds.

Justice Brothers Mini Stocks

Division leader Daryl Scoggins of Sunland won the Justice Brothers Mini Stock Division 35-lap feature race Saturday night (June 14) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. Scoggins took the lead from Rich Garver of Torrance on lap 34 and beating Garver to the finish line by 0.028 seconds. Kevin Bernhardt of Fontana finished in third place.

King Taco Super Trucks

Division points leader Pat Mintey Jr. won his second King Taco Super Trucks division 40-lap feature race of the season Saturday night (June 14) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. The defending division champion took the lead on the second lap and beat second place finisher Todd Cameron of Monrovia at the finish line by 0.337 seconds. Conner Cantrell’s third place finish snapped a two race consecutive win streak.

ACDelco Super Late Models Race # 2

Nick Joanides of Woodland Hills won the second race of the ACDelco Super Late Model twin 40 lap feature races on Saturday night (June 14) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. Joanides started from the pole position and led the entire race edging Jason Patison of Corona at the finish line by 0.253 seconds. Travis Thirkettle of Newhall finished third.

Pick Your Part Outlaw Figure 8

Defending division champion Steve Stewart of Long Beach won the Pick Your Part Outlaw Figure 8 20 lap feature race Saturday night (June 14) at TOYOTA Speedway at Irwindale. The victory was Stewart’s fourth in as many races. Rod Proctor of Riverside finished second and Jay Henson of Oak Hill finished in third place.
