ANNUAL NIGHT OF FIRE FEATURES FIREWORKS, STOCK CAR RACING ON THURSDAY, JULY 3, AT THE BULLRING AT LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAYLAS VEGAS – The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will present its annual Fourth-of-July Weekend holiday spectacular on Thursday, July 3. The annual Night of Fire at LVMS’ 3/8-mile asphalt oval will include fireworks, a thrill show and NASCAR-sanctioned Whelen All-American Series stock car racing. Spectator gates will open at 5 p.m., with racing at 5:30 p.m. and fireworks at 10 p.m. (approximately).

Classes in competition on July 3 will include the Super Late Model/Late Model Combo division in a 76-lap feature, Modifieds, Legends Cars, USAC Focus Midgets, Bandoleros and Bombers.

The ERE motorcycle exhibition team will thrill fans twice on this night and will be joined by a Formula Drift drifting exhibition and a Jet Car will burn a hearse.

The Bullring’s concession stand features a family-friendly dollar menu, including $1 hot dogs, $1 soda and $1 beer.

There will be no increase in Night of Fire admission prices from 2007: adults are $15, senior citizens and military personnel with ID are $12, kids (ages 6-12) are $6 and children ages 5 and under are free. A Famil;y Four-Pack (two adults and two children) is $36. The Stockyard tailgate-style viewing area in Turns 3 and 4 (includes four admissions) is $120. To purchase tickets in advance, please call the LVMS ticket office at (702) 644-4444. 10 a.m. – Credential sales opens, pit gates open.

2 p.m. – Bandolero practice (Young Guns and Bandits, 10 minutes each).

2:20 p.m. – Full-size car practice (concludes at 4:20 p.m.).

4:20 p.m. – Second Bandolero practice (Young Guns and Bandits, five minutes each).

4:30 p.m. – Season ticketholder and advance-purchase spectator gates open.

4:40 p.m. – Drivers’ meeting.

5 p.m. – Spectator gates open.

5:05 p.m.

Legends Cars qualifying (8 cars, 4 laps).

USAC Focus Midget qualifying.

Super Late Model/Late Model Combo class qualifying (5 cars, 4 laps).

Bandolero Young Guns heat race (6 laps or 6 minutes).

Bandolero Bandits heat race (6 laps or 6 minutes).

Bomber heat race (12 laps).

Modified heat races (8 laps or 8 minutes).

Legends Cars Last-Chance Race (if more than 30 cars entered).

Super Late Model/Late Model Combo Last-Chance Race (if more than 26 cars entered).

Bandolero Bandits feature (12 laps or 12 minutes).

Bandolero Young Guns feature (12 laps or 12 minutes).

6:44 p.m. – ERE motorcycle exhibition performs until 6:59pm.

7:05 p.m.

National Anthem.

Budweiser Super Late Model/Late Model Combo Dash (8 laps or 8 minutes).

Budweiser Legends Cars Dash (8 laps or 8 minutes).

Wheel of Inversion spin.

USAC Focus Midget heat races (8 laps or 8 minutes).

Formula Drift exhibition (5 minutes).

Legends Cars feature (20 laps or 20 minutes).

Modified feature (25 laps or 25 minutes).

Bomber feature (25 laps, no cautions).

USAC Focus Midgets (30 laps or 30 minutes).

Super Late Model/Late Model Combo class “Spirit of 76” feature (76 laps or 45 minutes).

9:50 p.m. – ERE motorcycle exhibition (concludes at 9:59 p.m.).

10 p.m. (approx) – Car burn (a Jet Car bill burn a hearse), followed by fireworks show.####
