ATLANTA GA (3-7-02) Damon Lusk, who will compete in Saturday’s Pork The Other White Meat 400 ARCA RE/MAX Series race is one of three up-and-coming race car drivers who have teamed up for a unique program to benefit underprivileged children.

The first event, called “One Race America,” will take place at Atlanta’s East Lake YMCA from 3-6 p.m. on Saturday, immediately following that day’s Pork The Other White Meat 400 ARCA race at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Lusk will team with NASCAR Featherlite Series racer Bruce Driver and NASCAR driver Deborah Renshaw for the event, which is designed to visit inner-city neighborhoods across the country and set up two race cars and an array of driving simulators, pit gear, huge transport vehicles and other race-related gear. The drivers will spend the afternoon with the local children, encouraging them to stay in school while giving them a hands-on introduction to car racing.
