The final race for 1999 at Central Arizona Raceway saw 1998 Arizona State UMP Modified champion Brad Campbell with a $600 win in the UMP Modified main event ahead of track champion Nolan Morrow. Campbell is from Tucson as is third place main event finisher Doc Langston. Another good field of dwarf cars saw Tony Martin the feature winner ahead of Kevin Cain. Art Lacy won the final street stock main ahead of Jack Buckner and Thierry Allred. The night also included a special powderpuff race and Michelle Ashcraft won ahead of Penny Tate.

The UMP Modified car count rebounded to 18 cars and they were divided into three heat races. Manzanita Speedway rookie of the year Ron Poe won the first heat ahead of Campbell. Heat 2 featured another duel between Morrow and Ted Robinson with Morrow coming out on top. Dusty Fielden won heat 3 ahead of another local favorite, Mark Harrison. In the feature, it was Campbell on top of Morrow, Langston, Marlon Childers, Sean Teeters, Scott Walker, Robinson, Joe Wiegman and Tim Dixon.

The 19 dwarf cars were split into three heats with Kevin Cain on top in heat 1 ahead of Charles Matthews. Bob Suor won heat 2 with Tony Martin second. Heat 3 went to John Cain ahead of Casey Cain. T Martin then won feature honors with K Cain second ahead of Rick Kochanowski, Chester Villella, Ed Martin, Matt Tipton and Matthews.

The always large street stock field was split into 5 heats and the feature was paired down to the usual 24 starters. Jack Buckner, Patrick Tolle, Rickie Boehler, Art Lacy and Royce Bruno won heat races. Lacy then captured the feature with Buckner second ahead of Thierry Allred, Ron Stidham, Steven Ashcraft, Tom Hussak, Mike Tahtinen, Tommy Thompson and Brad Whitfield.

There were six entrants in the powderpuff and Michelle Ashcraft won with Penny Tate second ahead of Diana Wietholter, Debbie Dixon, Dennette Shipe and Patti Freeman.

The track's awards banquet is set for Dec 4th from 3 pm to midnight at the Pinal County Fairgrounds with the top 20 point runners in both the UMP Modifieds and Street Stocks honored.
