Promoter: Rick Faeth The racetrack in Anderson has gone through many changes since its inception in the late 1940’s. Originally a dirt track it was paved in 1972 and configured in a ¼-mile oval. In 2005 the oval was lengthened to a 3/8ths mile and repaved. The pit area was also paved bringing the establishment up to a standard of racing excellence unparalleled in the North State. SRP utilizes the state-of-the-art AMB transponder scoring system, and features two premier weekly track divisions the late model stock cars and open-wheel modified divisions, we also run a highly competitive mini-stock division, the ever popular bombers, and a low cost entry level division called hornets.
