Auto Club Late Models

 
Chris Carmody of Valencia held off Dan GiGiacomo’s challenge during the final laps of the race and hung on to win Saturday’s (August 4) Auto Club Late Model division 40-lap feature race at Irwindale Speedway. DiGiacomo of Dana Point finished in second place, 0.560 of a second behind Carmody. It was DiGiacomo’s second consecutive runner-up finish. Rookie Scott Jenkins of Portland, OR finished in third place. Division points leader Tim Huddleston of Agoura Hills finished in 5th place. Twenty-seven cars competed in the race.

Demolition Derby

 
Travis Altsather of Los Alamitos and Stan McDonald of Valley Center finished in a tie for first place in Saturday night’s (August 4) Demolition Derby at Irwindale Speedway. Nine cars competed in the competition.

Justice Brothers Mini Stocks

 
Tyler Rogers of Riverside took the lead on lap 16 and held off his father Steve Rogers to win the Justice Brothers Mini Stock race Saturday night (August 4) at Irwindale Speedway. The elder Rogers finished second 0.183 of a second behind the winner. Eric Reed of Riverside finished third in the 30-lap race.

K&N Ford Focus Midgets

 
Beau Debard of Citrus Heights won Saturday night’s K&N Filters Ford Focus Midget race Saturday night (August 4) at Irwindale Speedway. Ian Millie of Pleasanton finished in second place, 1.108 seconds behind Debard and Justin Hommel of Canyon Lake finished in third place. Division points leader Tim Skoglund finished fourth. Sixteen cars competed in the 35-lap race.

Legends Car

 
Tom Landreth of Alta Loma took over the lead on lap 6 and cruised to his third consecutive Legends Cars victory Saturday night (August 4) at Irwindale Speedway. The victory was the defending champion’s fourth win in his last five starts. Austin Grabowski of Upland finished second, 2.336 seconds behind the winner and division points leader Darren Amidon of Santee finished third. Twenty-three cars competed in the 30-lap race.
